Karla Freeman
of Fayetteville, Arkansas, lost her husband to a terrible motorcycle accident with a construction company. The Freemans were raising two of their grandchildren, so Karla was very dependent upon her husband, Glen's, love and support. After his death she struggled and didn't know where to turn. Bishop & Hayes was there to help on both a professional and personal level. Money could never make up for Karla’s loss, but Bishop and Hayes was able to obtain a fair settlement to help her in a time of enormous need.
Melissa Ford
Melissa's family was traveling in their Blazer on a clear summer day when a careless driver pulled in front of them. The collision was so severe it partially ejected Melissa and left her severely injured. Ultimately, Melissa had surgery to repair her injures and remove her kneecap which had been crushed. Her medical bills just 3 days after the accident were already over $25,000.00. Initially, the at fault driver's insurance company said that it would cooperate but soon after the accident the insurance adjuster began questioning how the accident occurred and the severity of the injuries. Melissa turned to Bishop & Hayes, P.C. for help. Bishop & Hayes, P.C. took over all communications with the insurance adjuster and provided all relevant property damage, medical and lost wage information. Bishop & Hayes, P.C. was able to establish through their investigators that the accident was not Melissa’s fault and that she deserved to be compensated 100% for the injuries she suffered due to the at fault driver’s negligence. Once Melissa was released from treatment Bishop & Hayes, P.C. was able to negotiate a six figure settlement in Melissa's favor.
Stan Swinney
Stan Swinney was injured when another driver attempted to make a left turn in front of the vehicle he was operating. Stan suffered a head injury, fractured wrist, tooth loss and a jaw injury in the accident. The adjuster refused to provide any assurance that Stan’s medical bills and lost wages would be paid. Furthermore, an oral surgeon recommended that Stan some of his damaged teeth repaired but the adjuster refused to authorize any additional treatment. Stan hired Bishop & Hayes, P.C. to represent him in his battle with the insurance company. Ultimately, Bishop & Hayes, P.C. obtained a settlement on Stan’s behalf which paid his past medical bills, the additional treatment recommended by the oral surgeon, his lost wages and a fair amount for his pain and suffering.
